Non-traditional, low key, unconventional. Some of my favorite key words when somebody is describing themselves to me in their wedding inquiry email. This is what Sarah described herself and her hubby Chris as. And this is why I love them <3
Sarah and Chris had a beautiful vow renewal a few months after they married at the Wahoo Grill in Decatur, GA. The focus was friends, family and love. I love small, intimate weddings. Love, love, love them. It started raining before what would have been a ceremony in the most amazing ivy garden. Like raining cats and dogs. Like bridal suite floor started to flood and a wet vac was pulled out. So reception tables were pushed aside and the seated ceremony was quickly and creatively switched to a standing circle, which to be honest was so much more awesome anyway. It stopped raining and everyone partied like only one can on a Saturday afternoon. Succulents for guest gifts. Sarah kicking off her heels and throwing on some red sneakers. Chris and his dance moves. Maddie the bridesmaid (you'll know her when you see her). This was a party y'all.
